About
Hi, I'm Quyen "Wing" Witthuhn. I'm the former founder and owner of Pacifier, a baby and children’s boutique in the Twin Cities. Back in 2004, my husband and I opened Pacifier. It eventually grew to four brick-and-mortar locations and an online store. We sold the business in 2018 and today, I'm pursuing my next passion: helping businesses and non-profits get online and grow.
Today, more than ever, companies and nonprofits need a web presence that truly reflects their brand and personality. My goal is to create not just a website, but an authentic online experience for your guests or stakeholders.
In addition to developing websites, I also offer consulting in retail, wholesale, social media, and marketing.
I was born in Vietnam and grew up in Bloomington, MN. I received my BA in Anthropology and Latin American Studies at Macalester College, and earned my MA in International Development at the The George Washington University. Today, I live in Northeast Minneapolis with my husband, one son, one bearded dragon, and one ancient shih tzu who rules us all.
Giving Back
Before starting my own business, I obtained an M.A. in anthropology and international development, and I worked for a small nonprofit that organized short-term service projects abroad. I've always been interested in micro-finance as a means to cultivate social and economic justice. I'm proud to donate 5% of revenue to Kiva, an international nonprofit with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive.
More than 1.7 billion people around the world are unbanked and can’t access the financial services they need. Kiva helps by crowdfunding loans and unlocking capital for the underserved. Through Kiva's work, students can pay for tuition, women can start businesses, farmers are able to invest in equipment and families can afford needed emergency care.
